Find Refuge at St. Paul’s

…Refuge at St. Paul’s
will resume this fall,
most Sundays at 6 p.m.
The mission of St. Paul’s is to be the most welcoming congregation in the South Hills for all generations…
So come and be welcome.
We believe worship should be engaging and invigorating.
During the service you will smell incense, see images, paintings, and icons, hear an eclectic mixture of music, feel the elements of the worship stations, and taste bread and wine. Please do not feel rushed to see and experience everything at once. Each season will last a number of weeks, so you can take your time.
We believe in freedom in worship and encourage you to get out of the pew.
The pews are too hard to be sitting there for an hour. While the second half of the service is designed to give the freedom to explore the space, don’t feel you have to wait until then if you are feeling antsy or curious. The space is yours; we simply ask that you be respectful to those around you.
We invite you to belong.
This is a Christian Eucharist in the Episcopal tradition. We believe in a loving God who created us and the incredible universe around us. We believe in Jesus Christ, the Son of God who lived, died, and rose again for us, that we might be forgiven our sin and invited to be children of God.
We believe in the Holy Spirit who sustains this world in the grace and love of God and leads us into all truth. Nevertheless, we understand that you might not share these beliefs. Know that we are glad you are here. We hope you feel free to worship God as you understand God and that you will continue to worship with us as we seek love, truth, peace, and joy together. May you find a home here…
may you find Refuge for your soul.
