First, and most importantly, we hope everyone is safe and healthy. Please contact the church if you need any support or assistance. A helper team is standing by. We hope you have found some time to join some of St. Paul’s virtual events and have stayed current with all that is happening. Like everyone else, we are making the best of this new reality.
Second, thank you to everyone who has mailed checks or submitted donations on-line by either checking account or credit card toward your pledge or in place of the Sunday offerings. This enables us to continue to pay bills as we manage our cash flow. At this time, we don’t know when in-person services will resume. If you are accustomed to making donations in the plate during services, we encourage you to consider giving by checking account or credit card, especially during these very unusual times.
Checks may be mailed directly to St. Paul’s Episcopal Church, 1066 Washington Rd, Pittsburgh, PA 15228. If you use on-line banking, you can set up St. Paul’s as a payee. The phone number is 412-531-7153.
Donations may be made on-line through the website at www.stpaulspgh.org. Scroll to the bottom of the home page and click the link for “GIVE ONLINE.” If you have a profile, you can enter your login information and schedule single or multiple donations by credit card or checking account. If you aren’t sure if you have an account, select “forgot username or password” and enter your email address. Please be assured your information for these donations is secure, similar to other on-line purchasing. A processor handles the financial transfer and the church does not have access to your bank account or credit card information.
Also, while you are practicing social distancing, if you order supplies from Amazon please consider using Amazon Smile (with your existing username and password) and selecting St. Paul’s as the charity that will receive a percentage of your purchase amount. Every little bit helps!
Finally, we understand that this situation has disrupted our lives and may have disrupted your planned giving schedule for the time being. No matter how you contribute to the life of the parish during this difficult time, we offer faithful thanks. We very much look forward to being together in person again.
We extend our gratitude and blessings.
