Christmas Giving at St. Paul’s

Dear Friend:

St. Paul’s Episcopal Church’s first service in Mt. Lebanon was a Christmas Service! On December 21, 1924, 100 years ago, St. Paul’s held its first service in the Washington School Auditorium. Before the parish’s move to Mt. Lebanon, it served the community of Laceyville, now Pittsburgh’s Hill District. For the first five years the parish was in Mt. Lebanon, we worshipped in the auditorium of Washington School until the current building was completed.

For a hundred years now, St. Paul’s has been serving the neighborhoods of Pittsburgh’s South Hills. It has served through the proclamation of the Gospel, spiritual education and formation for children and adults, and outreach and service to the wider community. It has been a century of creating community and caring for those around us. Now the privilege of carrying on this legacy lies with us today.

It is the generosity of those who surround this Church that allows this work to continue. St. Paul’s relies on gifts like yours and we cannot do it without your critical support.
Please join us as we celebrate the birth of Jesus this 100th Christmas season in Mt. Lebanon!
