Church Without Walls is the diocesan program that gathered over 170 people together on June 11th at Rodman Street Baptist Church. The group worshipped together, shared a meal and then formed racially balanced small groups who committed to gather at least three times over a four month period. The program's focus: bring hope of racial unity to the people of Pittsburgh.
As a small group we spend our time breaking bread, getting to know each other, studying the Word of God and discussing questions related to race and reconciliation. Our time together begins and ends with prayer for one another, for our city, our nation and our world. This small group, comprised of parishioners from St. Paul's, Calvary Church and Rodman Street Baptist church decided to visit one another's places of worship attended the 9:30 service at St. Paul's in mid- August and met afterwards in the lounge.
