Letter from our Vestry: Support Our Shared Ministry
Dear Fellow St. Paul's Parishioners,
This is an exciting time of renewal at St. Paul's with the call of our new Rector, the Rev. Noah Evans. We hope that you are also excited to be a part of our shared ministry, and we ask for your financial support as we begin this renewal.
Our stewardship campaign last fall, Moving our Mission Forward, fell short of our targeted goal, leaving us with a projected 2017 budget deficit of approximately $55,000.
So that we may continue to grow and build throughout this year, the Vestry has decided to hold a one-time pledge drive to raise $55,000.
We welcome all members, including long-time parishioners and newcomers, to make a pledge for 2017. In the Episcopal Church, pledging a specific dollar amount for the year allows us to budget for all the programs and outreach we undertake. We need every adult or family unit to pledge something, however small, to St. Paul's
If you have already pledged for 2017, we thank you and ask that you continue to contribute as planned. If your financial situation has improved since you pledged last fall or if you feel you can add a little more, please consider making an additional contribution.
Your pledge or increased pledge to St. Paul's will improve our ability to fund outreach initiatives, to maintain our facilities, and to meet our obligations for the remainder of the year. You can make a new pledge or increase your existing pledge by clicking here.
Finally, we will conclude this spring pledge drive with a special Pig Roast at St. Paul's, organized by the Young Adults, in the evening of Saturday, June 3 from 3 to 7 p.m. This is a family-friendly event featuring the renowned pig-roasting talents of parishioner Chris Clark. Please join us and invite friends for what will surely be a signature St. Paul's event! Click here to purchase your tickets. Proceeds from the event will be used to reduce our deficit.
We give thanks to God for your ongoing presence at St. Paul's and for your prayers and support of our shared ministries.
