All Saint’s Sunday, and Ministry Fair - Sunday, November 3, 9:45AM This is one of the major feasts of the church calendar, and we are celebrating with a combined all parish worship service! On this special feast, we will celebrate Holy Baptism, hear our Children's Choirs sing, remember those who have died from the St. Paul’s community over the last year and celebrate the communion of saints we are all a part of. Following the 9:45 service, there will be fantastic food, and an interactive Ministry Fair for all ages. Come and join in the fun, as we connect with one another and learn how we can all join in the work and ministries of the church. For more information, contact Andrea Kamouyerou at [email protected]
St. Paul’s in World War II, Sunday, November 10 On Sunday morning, November 10, 2019, we will commemorate Veteran’s Day during Adult Education (starting at 9:45 AM) with a presentation on “St. Paul’s in World War II” given by Geoff Hurd and Todd DePastino, Executive Director of the Veterans Breakfast Club. Please join us as we explore our community during wartime and tell the stories of the eight St. Paul’s parishioners who didn’t come home. The names of the St. Paul’s members who served in the military during the war are on the memorial at the rear of the Nave. Eight of the names have crosses next to them, identifying those who perished. These soldiers, sailors, and airmen lived in our community, perhaps on your street, attended Mt. Lebanon High School and were members of St. Paul’s.Please join us to learn more about them and their experiences.
Being formally Received into the Episcopal Church The Right Reverend Dorsey McConnell will be coming to St. Paul’s on Sunday, November 24th for our 9:45AM combined worship service. If at this time you are feeling called to be received into the Episcopal Church, please let Noah ([email protected] or 412-531*7153 x11) know. As preparation, we invite you to either attended St. Paul’s 101 or to meet with one of our clergy to discuss an intro to the Episcopal Church books we recommend.
