Each Christmas, the Episcopal Church of the Atonement serves a free Christmas Dinner to the community on Christmas Day. For the past several years, St. Paul's parishioners have helped served this meal, and St. Paul's Outreach Commission has provided financial support. Below is the text of a thank-you note we received - you can look at the original in the Undercroft the next time you're at St. Paul's!

We are so grateful to you and St. Paul's Outreach Commission for providing $1000.00 for Atonement's Christmas Day Open House. We anticipate serving 200+ dinners with half being delivered to shut-ins. And, there is no charge for dinner or delivery. This will be our 35th year of serving the local communities.
For the past 4 years we have fed the children from the Boys and Girls Club (located next door to us) on Wednesdays during their 9-week summer program. Usually we have 100 smiling faces come through our doors each week. It's a joy to work with them. They are very polite and mannerly.
It's your generosity that helps a small congregation like ours continue these wonderful ministries. Know we sincerely appreciate all of your financial assistance. And your donations shows you care!
God Bless You!
