The Rev. Laura Di Panfilo will begin serving at St. Paul’s on July 1st as our Assistant Rector. She will be joining in the sacramental and pastoral leadership of the parish with a focus on pastoral care and spiritual formation. Laura will coordinate parish pastoral care, including supporting Stephen Ministers, Lay Eucharistic Visitors, the Pastoral Care Commission and other lay pastoral care ministries. She will also take part in the leadership and teaching of our spiritual formation programs for all ages.

While Laura and her husband, Luke, are excitedly packing for their big move from New York City to Mt. Lebanon, St. Paul’s people are making preparations for an assortment of welcoming events and activities!! Some of these plans are top secret so as to surprise Laura, but mark your calendars for the following dates:
Saturday, July 6: the evening service in St. Margaret’s garden will be Laura’s first service at St. Paul’s. Following the service, there will be a gathering with light refreshments for all to meet and mingle with Laura.
Sunday, July 7: There will be a spectacular welcoming celebration after the 9:45 service with food, activities, and fun for all ages. The theme must remain classified information until closer to the date. (Sorry to have to keep everyone on pins and needles!)
An Interview with Laura Sunday, July 14 at 10:45 Lisa Brown will interview Laura (talk show style ) during a special adult forum on Laura’s second Sunday at St. Paul’s! Make sure to join us in the Undercroft and learn more about her!
