“In the Bleak Mid-Winter” Holy Spirit Walk

This past summer, many of us enjoyed Holy Spirit Walks together in the sanctuary of nature, to try to shift our perspective, deepen a sense of gratitude, and better see our place in the world. Now that the days grow short and the temperatures drop, we are less likely to find solace in nature, but the weariness and the burdens continue! Often, the need to find solace in the bleakness of winter is even great than in the summer sun!
On Saturday, December 18, at 9 a.m., on one of the shortest days of the year, join Lisa Brown at South Park for a seasonal “In the Bleak Mid-Winter” Holy Spirit Walk. Dress for the weather, particularly rain gear and sturdy footwear. We will follow a trail back into the wilds of the park and we will try to walk even if there are less-than-optimal conditions. Feel free to bring reasonably-cooperative dogs on leash. Meet at the Black & Gold Playground in South Park on Corrigan Drive.
