My Church, Our Community!
What do these words mean to you? It is likely that you define “My church” in a unique way because this church is part of your personal relationship with God. “My church” is also part of a faith community known as St. Paul’s and we collectively share a sense of mission, ministry, and purpose. Together we define goals for our community and how we want St. Paul’s to be as a parish in our neighborhood and in the world. Your special place, “My church”, is asking you to continue to financially support these goals by making a pledge for the coming year.
On Sundays in October and November, we will hear from a variety of parishioners about why they give to St. Paul's and the impact it has had on their lives and on this community. This is an important stewardship campaign for St. Paul's. During this time of transition, our Vestry is in active discernment about the best way to use our resources - including staffing levels - to further our mission and ministry at this time and in this place. In our church, we work hard to spend our funds wisely; we plan our budget based on the funds committed by those who pledge. As a member of our community, we invite you to participate in our annual stewardship campaign through your personal financial pledge and to participate fully in the events of this Stewardship season. Please keep our upcoming campaign in your prayers, and know that with God's help we will continue to build this wonderful church.
