Rector's Sabbatical: Choosing the Wilderness

Clear the way for the Lord in the Wilderness, Make smooth in the desert a highway for our God. (Isaiah 35)

Noah's sabbatical, from May 5th through August 21st 2022, entitled Choosing Wilderness, is funded by the Lilly Foundation 2021 National Clergy Renewal Program through a grant of $47,000 - read more about it here. The sabbatical is based on five backpacking trips, one with himself, one with colleagues, one with his wife Sara, one with his son's Scout troop, and one with his family. Between trips, Noah will also be taking some family vacation time, attending a spiritual retreat at a monastery in Michigan, and doing home improvement projects.
  • Self - 14-day NOLS Backpacking course in Alaska
  • Colleagues - 5 day trip with two colleagues to Gila Wilderness Area in New Mexico
  • Spouse - weeklong trip in Elk County, Pennsylvania
  • Scouts - leading Troop 284s High Adventure trip backpacking the Laurel Highlands Trail
  • Family - Three week trip to Alaska, including 10-day backpacking trip in Denali National Park
If you want to follow his journey, please find him and friend him on Facebook.

Why Give? God asks us to share our time, talent and treasure. A life of generosity is at the root of Christianity. We encourage you to think about what a meaningful gift would be for you.

When you give to St. Paul's you help fund our ministry in the community, our worship, and the staff that supports our community as we strive to be God's hands and feet in the world.

Thank you for your ongoing prayers and support.

Give Now

Pledging is a covenant made to contribute a certain amount of money over a period of time. Our stewardship campaign is asking parishioners to let us know what they will be able to contribute to St. Paul's in 2022 so that we can plan for our mission and ministry in the coming year. As a member of our community, we invite you to participate in our annual stewardship campaign through your personal financial pledge.

Note: This year we are moving to a new company for online giving: Breeze. To access online giving through Breeze, please click here.

Food Pantry

The St. Paul's Endowment Fund is the cornerstone of a long-range program to provide future financial stability for the parish. It is created through bequests of money and property. Once, invested, the bequests provide income for the special needs of the parish and designated programs.
