Solitary Confinement: An Overview is Wednesday, February 3 at 7PM!

There is currently a movement underway in Allegheny County to add an amendment onto the ballot that will ban solitary confinement in the County Jail. Detailed information can be found here. In support of this human rights issue that acknowledges the dignity and worth of all human beings, St. Paul’s is co-sponsoring an event with Sunset Hills United Presbyterian Church, Sunnyhill Unitarian Universalist Church, and Temple Emanuel to call attention to the importance of this initiative. On Wednesday, Feb. 3rd, at 7pm, the Field Director for the Alliance for Police Accountability will give a presentation, followed by a time for questions and answers.
